I know oats got a bad rep but before you judge this beautiful bowl of carrot halwa oats, I’d love for you to give it a try.
This is literally like having dessert for breakfast which also magically happens to be good for you?
It takes only a couple of minutes to whip it up and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
Gajar Halwa Oats
Dessert for Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 cup Grated Carrot
- 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1/2 cup Non-dairy half&half or cashew cream
- 1/2 cup Plant Milk
- Raisins, Cashews and other nuts of choice
Instructions
- Mix the grated carrots, cardamom, Half & Half, plant milk and sweetener of choice.
- Microwave this mixture for 2 minutes.
- Mix in your rolled oats and microwave for another 3 minutes, stir it every one minute to prevent overflow.
- Top with roasted nuts and raisins.- Garnish with leftover carrot and enjoy !
