Gajar Halwa Oats

I know oats got a bad rep but before you judge this beautiful bowl of carrot halwa oats, I’d love for you to give it a try.
This is literally like having dessert for breakfast which also magically happens to be good for you?
It takes only a couple of minutes to whip it up and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Gajar Halwa Oats

Dessert for Breakfast
Prep Time 2 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Servings 2

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Rolled Oats
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Grated Carrot
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 cup Non-dairy half&half or cashew cream
  • 1/2 cup Plant Milk
  • Raisins, Cashews and other nuts of choice

Instructions
 

  • Mix the grated carrots, cardamom, Half & Half, plant milk and sweetener of choice.
  • Microwave this mixture for 2 minutes.
  • Mix in your rolled oats and microwave for another 3 minutes, stir it every one minute to prevent overflow.
  • Top with roasted nuts and raisins.- Garnish with leftover carrot and enjoy !
