Aloo Sev Toast
Ingredients
- 1 Medium yukon gold potato
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
- 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Red Onion
- Spinach
- 1 tbsp Mint and Cilantro Chutney
- 1 tbsp Date and Tamarind Chutney
- 2 tbsp Nylon Sev
- 2 Slices Bread of choices
Instructions
- Mash the boiled potato and mix it with salt, chili powder and Chaat masala.
- On a slice of bread, generously spread Mint and Cilantro chutney, layer it with potatoes, onions, tomato, spinach or kale. Spread about date and tamarind chutney on the greens.
- Layer it with Sev.
- Using a panini press or on stove top, grill the sandwich on both sides so that the filling is compressed well. I like it when the bread thins out and turns crispy.
- Enjoy while it's warm!
