Aloo Sev Toast

If you’re having one of those days where nothing but carbs on carbs will satisfy your apetite, this Aloo Sev Toast is what you’re looking for. Give this a try and see for yourself.

Aloo Sev Toast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Medium yukon gold potato
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Kashmiri Chili Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Red Onion
  • Spinach
  • 1 tbsp Mint and Cilantro Chutney
  • 1 tbsp Date and Tamarind Chutney
  • 2 tbsp Nylon Sev
  • 2 Slices Bread of choices

Instructions
 

  • Mash the boiled potato and mix it with salt, chili powder and Chaat masala.
  • On a slice of bread, generously spread Mint and Cilantro chutney, layer it with potatoes, onions, tomato, spinach or kale. Spread about date and tamarind chutney on the greens.
  • Layer it with Sev.
  • Using a panini press or on stove top, grill the sandwich on both sides so that the filling is compressed well. I like it when the bread thins out and turns crispy.
  • Enjoy while it's warm!
