On a medium high flame, roast your peanuts. Keep stirring to make sure peanuts don't burn and are roasted evenly.
Transfer peanuts onto a plate and let them cool down.
Take peanuts into your palms and rub them against each other. This will de-skin them. Then just blow onto your plate and watch all the skin fly away. Don't do this indoors unless you want an earful from your family. You can also gently scoop out all the skin and throw in the bin. That's probably better.
Chop the dates finely. On a small flame, start warming up the chopped dates in a pan. As the dates warm up, they should get stickier. Add your de-skinned peanuts and mix thoroughly. At one point it will become too hard to mix. Stop and transfer the mixture to a plate.
Wait until the mixture is cooled enough to handle but not completely cold. Now mix with your hands and start forming them into balls. Let the balls cool completely.
Pop a few in your mouth and put any remaining balls into an air-tight container. Store at room-temperature.
