In a saucepan, add olive oil and butter. Add onions and let them sweat.
Go in with the rest of your veggies and sauté for 10 minutes.
If using canned beans, wash the beans thoroughly. add the beans to the pan.
Add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, Kashmiri chilli and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
Now add the tomatoes and vegan milk.
Ideally, the sauce is to be left to simmer slowly for 3-4 hours. But leave it to simmer at least for an hour for a flavorful Bolognese.
